BOSTON, MA (Seraphimedia) July 4, 2005 -- Author D.S. Fine announced today, in association with Infinity Publishing, the imminent worldwide release of his book entitled: "GODYSSEY" - A Young Man's Proof of God's Existence, via Amazon.com.

The inspirational, 228-page autobiography, described by Charles B. Everitt, of The Globe Pequot Press, as "brilliant and unforgettable," will also be available through all major bookstores this fall via the Ingram Book database.

Written over a period of six years, under the pen name of Jess Fein, "Godyssey" is an extraordinary, true account documenting a 20 year-old man's odyssey of self-discovery, following a paradigm-shattering, face-to-Face encounter with God. 

Although not explicitly mentioned in the book, Fine says that the "shocking and traumatic" strangulation death of his grandmother in April of 1964 in Norwood, Massachusetts, never completely solved nor officially connected to the infamous Boston Strangler, was the driving force behind his "questing, questioning spirit."

The motivation for sharing what is essentially "breathtaking, breakthrough information," says Fine, is his earnest desire "to communicate an "I-opening," eyewitness testimony, supported by numerous historical, religious and literary references, prevalent throughout many diverse cultures, -- pointing toward the ineffably powerful nature of the one God Who exists behind all images."

"If this knowledge were widely disseminated and scientifically understood," he asserts, "the possibility of a genuine era of enlightenment would be imminent."

"Because of its intimate universality and the inherent freedom of belief with which it is communicated, this transpersonal Vision could literally "trance-end" personal divisions."

"However," he continues, "it requires an exceptional degree of wisdom and strength to be able to absorb the full impact of this direct knowledge. That an Almighty God truly is at the center of Creation; and with this realization there is a natural ascent into the realm of compassion for one's brothers and sisters."

In this regard, the information revealed in "Godyssey" could be a spiritual parallel to the Copernican theory and Galileo's subsequent observations verifying the decentralization of the Earth from its previously-believed position as the "center of the known universe."

Almost in the form of an intricately modern, yet timeless, illuminated manuscript, "Godyssey's" thought-provoking, computer-interactive pages are filled to overflowing with more than 100 color photo-montages and elaborate illustrations.

Fine's visionary, photo-panoramic record of dazzling landscapes and kaleidoscopic, mystical scenes recreates events spanning a 20-year period between 1974 and 1994. And his collaborator for more than a quarter-century, Lawrence Medeiros, from Boston's North Shore, also contributes a remarkable array of artistic talents to this "life-work."

As an experienced illustrator, graphic designer and typographer, Medeiros carefully crafted the book's external covers and internal layout; juxtaposing early-20th century woodcuts into pertinent locations within the text, combined with highly original, richly-detailed illustrations and imaginative digital collages.

The 2005 Master DVD Edition of "Godyssey," which, in addition to incorporating the entire, illustrated book, contains hundreds of personal letters, e-mails & webpages; press releases, tv & radio announcements; advertisements & newspaper articles; high-quality, printable graphics; and a half-dozen videos pertaining to the creation and communication of its contents.

One controversial 12½ minute video, included on the disc, entitled: "Returnity," captures the image of a bearded, barefoot man descending a hill toward the videographer, alongside a group of people, and followed by a naked child.

"What makes this video miraculous (and controversial)," says Fine, "beside the fact that the man is "accompanied" by people adorned with Christian symbols, -- crosses and a portrait of Jesus with a crown of thorns visible on a young man's shirt, -- is that a halo or aura of energy can be discerned around the bearded man's head."

"And when the original, higher-resolution video is freeze-framed, his forehead appears to be incised, almost as if from a crown of thorns."

"Furthermore," Fine relates, "I was inspired to carry the video camera on a tripod upon my shoulder like a Cross, -- without pointing it directly at anyone, -- just letting it run."

Within an hour of unknowingly photographing the man, Fine collapsed, -- feeling as if he were dying, -- from what was later diagnosed as severe heat-stroke; and it was only later, when viewing the tape at home, that he saw the image of the man.

At which point, Fine instantaneously fell to his knees, "with tears of intense joy streaming down my face, co-mingled with a profound sense of gratitude - and a wondrous rapture of amazement during this realization that I had been uplifted from an extremely "grave" situation - by Christ Himself."

Will humanity be spiritually aware enough to see this Man whom D.S. Fine has recorded on video, as their own long-awaited Savior?

"It is my personal belief," he states, "that the Spirit of Christ, when needed, "man"-ifests to an individual in a form which can be accepted by that person. So that, in essence, an Asian might see Him as a Buddha, a Peruvian as a Shaman, or a child in need of immediate rescue might perceive Him as a winged Angel."

"Although, in order to restore humanity's collective vision we must illuminate and eliminate our darkest blind spot, -- by shining a beacon of respect upon a righteous God at the center of our inner universe."

"At that very instant, we shall universally re-awaken to the electrifying sight and insight that our Messiah has been living within and amongst us, guiding us all along."

"And that will be the end of pride and the beginning of true humility."

One final point, or to be more exact, -- an exclamation point (!), -- that Fine would like to add to the end of this astounding story:

"The woman who composed and performed the beautifully uplifting music for "Returnity," -- my Dutch pen-pal for many years, -- was sightless for most of her life, and had miraculously regained her vision."
